Value beyond engineering
The event had a strong theme of collaboration to provide “value beyond engineering” which ran throughout the day. Geoffrey Palmer, managing director of Roger Preston & Partners, commented “The standard of presentations from Roger Preston & Partners staff and guest speakers was excellent as was the interaction of the whole company”.
The afternoon session featured the QI Challenge where employees of the company pitted their wits to provide presentations that would be ‘Quite Interesting’ and relevant to their colleagues and directors. Jonathan Waite presented a well researched and light-hearted vision of the offices of the future which captured the audience’s imagination and won him the award for QI Challenge 2010.
Enhancing Roger Preston & Partners position in the marketplace
Geoffrey stated that whilst difficult in a recession, the importance of these group sessions is clear if Roger Preston & Partners are to work better together to enhance our position in the marketplace and win the opportunities that are now beginning to surface again.
