BREEAM
BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) is a leading and widely used environmental assessment method for buildings. It sets a standard for best practice in sustainable design and in the UK it has become the de facto measure used to describe a building's environmental performance. BREEAM addresses wide-ranging environmental and sustainability issues including ecology, energy, pollution, water use, materials, waste and transport as well as other issues. It enables developers and designers to prove the environmental credentials of their buildings to planners and clients.
TV debut
Two Kingdom Street also enjoyed its first television appearance recently, providing the location for a prime time BBC interview between television’s toughest interviewer, Jeremy Paxman and Nick Clegg, the Liberal Democrat leader.
“Delighted”
Trevor Farnfield, director, commented, “the BREEAM achievement further adds to Roger Preston & Partners’ long established reputation for delivering Excellent & Outstanding BREEAM rated office developments to clients around the world.
"We are also delighted about the BBC interview, to see the profile of our projects raised yet again and to such a wide audience.”
