16 December 2004

Guardian Newspapers will consolidate its various premises around the Farringdon area into a new HQ building at Kings Place in Kings Cross, which will also incorporate a theatre and restaurant facilities.

Roger Preston Interiors is the specialist fit-out division of Roger Preston & Partners. Continuing its long association with the corporate workplace sector, it has secured the commission to design the engineering services for Guardian Newspapers’ new London HQ relocation project.

This continues Roger Preston Interiors' successful involvement with high-profile HQ fit-out projects which have included Coca-Cola in Hammersmith, Boots in Nottingham, Citigroup Centre in Canary Wharf, Veritas in Reading and the recently completed and occupied Blackstone Group offices in Berkeley Square and Cargill Investor Services at 2 More London Place.

Roger Preston Interiors has also recently completed Phase 1.0 of Stonemartin’s new corporate centres building at Davidson House in Reading and is currently working on Phase 2.0, which consists of large conference and meeting facilities including a new Institute of Directors’ lounge facility for the town centre.
