The Women's Hospital is a purpose-built Obstetrics and Gynecological hospital providing 324 beds and 60 cots.
Ward accommodation is situated within a five-storey block located over a single-storey podium which houses the main clinical departments.
A central air-cooled chiller plant and boiler installation serve dual-duct air conditioning systems throughout most of the medical and general accommodation within the building. Single duct, medium and low velocity systems are provided to serve operating theatres, lecture theatres and similar areas.
Services including air conditioning and chilled water to critical areas are maintained using electrical stand-by generation.
